What a gem to have in Ardmore. I lived in Houston for 35 years and this place has great and more creative food then anything I've had before.
Best sushi around! The employees are super friendly, I've only had rude service from the woman owner, but her husband is super nice.
Love this place! I moved to Oklahoma from the Pacific Northwest and was worried I might not be able to find great sushi near me. My first month here, I discovered this gem and haven't been disappointed since. The flavor combos in the specialty rolls are fun and fresh, with offerings from sweet to spicy to savory full-fish enjoyment. The sashimi is generally very fresh and well-cut, with a generous portion for the price. Also, try the creme brûlée! So far I've devoured every single one without even meaning to. Oops!
The staff is nice enough, but I have to say their sushi was a bit over rated with some rather strange combinations, but not strange in a good way.
Always get great service, nice atmosphere and great food

Great sushi restaurant. Somewhat of a hidden gem! Our waiter, Caleb, was incredibly helpful and went above-and-beyond with excellent recommendations for every course. Highly, highly recommend this place!

Ardmore, OK is not a place that's known for it's fine cuisine. Aside from a couple of Chinese restaurants that serve sushi from Sam's Club or Costco, there's literally NOWHERE to get sushi. Until now. When you walk into Edamame, you're greeted with a modern, minimalist environment that is crisp and clean. The ambiance evokes feelings of a big-city restaurant, but the service is top notch, and the waitstaff is incredibly friendly and helpful. It's like being in the big city, but with small-town charm and friendliness. If I had to choose one word to describe the food, it would be incredible. This is no refrigerated Costco sushi, this is the real deal. The ingredients are absolutely fresh, the Nigiri doesn't taste fishy at all, nor does the sashimi. The ginger is all natural, with no added coloring, even the wasabi is homemade. We ordered crabcakes for an appetizer, and there was no fishy 'whang' at all. As far as rolls go, I had the Devil's Advocate and the Big Easy. My wife isn't a seafood fan, so she didn't care for the big easy at all, but she liked the Devil's Advocate. Personally, the Big Easy was the best seafood I believe I've ever put to my lips. Sushi is a high-end food, but the prices here are affordable. It ain't cheap, but it won't put you in the poorhouse, either. If you don't order an appetizer or dessert, you can easily feed two for about $25. You get PLENTY of food for your money. I'm a big guy with a big appetite, and the food filled me up to the point of misery. In short, Edamame is the TRUTH. I will definitely eat here again and HIGHLY recommend it to Sushi noobs and Sushi snobs alike.

Simple decor, sushi seemed fresh, wasabi had a good punch. Portion sizes a bit smaller than the big sushi houses up in the city but prices are the same, overall a good place to eat but expensive for the area. Ordered hot tea and they don't seem to have a good system, tea was only warm.
Who would have guessed you could get excellent sushi in Ardmore, OK?? Well its true! We eat at Edamame every week and we have had excellent food and service every time. We are from the Orlando area which is a much larger market with trendy restaurants and lots of competition but the sushi at this restaurant is every bit as good as any restaurant we tried in Florida and better than a few. 5 stars, thumbs up!

Excellent food, staff, and a great atmosphere with a fair price. The food was absolutely amazing! Will definitely be back.
